Performing will be baritone Kerry Henderson and pianist Babette Hierholzer. ?Winterreise (Winter?s Journey)? is Schubert?s heart-wrenching masterpiece about love and loss in the depths of winter, coupled with Beethoven?s ode to the distant beloved in ?An die Ferne Geliebte,?? the first true song cycle ever written.
