New York ~ Motor Fuel Tax: Hurricane Sandy Relief for Dyed Diesel ...

The New York Department of Taxation and Finance has announced that, as part of Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts, the Internal Revenue Service has extended relief to allow the use of dyed diesel motor fuel in motor vehicles on the highway. As result, the provisions discussed in Important Notice N-12-14 (TAXDAY, 2012/11/07, S.18 ) have been extended through December 7, 2012.
